Biogas combustion

In the battle to combat global warming, biogas is generally considered to be an eco-friendly fuel. The constructive use of biogas energy can help reduce the consumption of fossil fuels.
That’s why the use of biogas as a fuel is strongly encouraged by the government and by environmental groups. The biogas may come from a water purification plant or a household waste composting plant.

Biogas combustion requires a special burner and combustion technology. The biogas of purification installations typically contains sulphur concentrations and is not always available in the same quantity. The biogas is burnt at the same time as a second fuel to meet the heat demand continuously. The specific combustion value of the biogas is not constant, so oxygen regulation is necessary to ensure the continuous combustion optimisation.
